Ugong

The barangay is named after the strong current and the deep rumbling sound of its creek. It is also said that at night, the loud rumbling noise is caused by Spanish cavaliers. Famous landmarks include the San Juan dela Cruz Parish Church. It is populated by some 31,000 residents. Land area is 340 square hectares. They are famous for the puto and palabok.
